Hey look! I finally got off of my lazy ass and am putting up Fanime pictures and all that jazz. I'm only, what, 3 weeks late?
Yeah, I suck. Onto pictures.
Hey Carrie! Look! I got pictures of Sephy! Okay, so I ninja-ed them, and she noticed, but.....look! Pictures!
Lambo sez, "NOMNOMNOM GRANDMA."
Hibari sez, "NOMNOMNOM HIBIRD."
So, Ashley and I went to see Indiana Jones with some of her friends, and this was in the lobby. We went in REBORN! cosplay. HIBARI IS NOT PLEASED WITH THIS.
Me as Future!Ema Skye at the VGCats booth. Saw the banner and went, "OMG PICTURE TIME NOW."
You do not know how hard Ashley and I fangirled when we saw this guy. No joke.
"Hey, Eyeshield 21!"
"Wait....is that..............Oujo?"
"Who is that?"
".............SAKURABA."
And then the poor guy got molested.
..........okay, not really, but we were all, "*shuffleshuffle shouldertap* Are you Sakuraba?" When the guy said yes, we asked for a picture. It was funny.
Okay, mark your calendars. I got a willing picture from Sephy. This is an accomplishment. If you go to cons with her, you will learn she doesn't like having her picture taken. Okay, if it's Carrie or I, she doesn't like it. Maybe we should stop doing, "SURPRISE PICTURE!" with her?
Anyway, I ran into one of my friends from San Jose State and she invited me to dinner, so Sephy came with me. We went to an Italian place, and since Sephy was dressed as Dino, I had to get a picture of her eating, "the food of his people."
Sephy's back. She was dressed as Rounds!Suzaku. I tried to get the front, but again, the, "SURPRISE! PICTURE!" tactic did not work.
There was a Phoenix Wright shoot at one point that I got invited to while dressed as Ema. It was hilarious as hell and unfortunately, I did not have my camera with me. I did have my phone with me, and managed to get some decnet pics (which will be shown later).
After the shoot, we all agreed to meet up for dinner. These pictures were taken while we were meeting up (when I DID have my camera). There was also singing, which I have on video, but I need to upload the rest onto YouTube.

On the last day, Ashley and I are doing Geass. We're going down the escalator at the Marriot when she goes, "Hey, I see a Hobo Suzaku."
"Wait.........is the Suzaku short and Asian?"
"Yeah."
"VAAAAAAAAAAAL."
I proceed to run down the stairs and out the door, where I meet up with Val and her friend, who's dressed as Kallen. They have a personal photographer, so we get some pictures.
I'm doing the scene where the class is drawing Lelouch. Ignore the fact I'm not wearing the school uniform.

The PW shoot started out outside, when we all decided to move inside to do "court scenes." Again, these were taken with my phone.
Quite possibly, the greatest Larry picture EVER.
Yes, someone dressed as ramen came by. Gumshoe(s) just had to worship it.
And so I end my picture journey with this note.

The good:
*Getting to see friends again.
*Getting to see San Jose again.
*Spent waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much time with Sephy. She was always in my room. It was amusing.
*No, really, I spent WAY TOO MUCH TIME WITH SEPHY.
*The Phoenix Wright group and their awesomeness.
*Not taking the 5 freeway on the way up. Intead, I took the 101 and didn't have to look at nothing for 6 hours.
*Bar times. But I don't think Sephy even got her Pina Colata.
*Getting to see Val.
*Buying pretty REBORN! art. One table at Artist's Alley was selling these cards that were 8 for $20. So Ashley and I buy them, and divide them between us and Sephy. I got Older!Lambo, Tsuna, and Gokudera. Ashley got Ryouhei, Hibari, and Yamamoto. Sephy got Dino and....someone else that I can't remember. I think it was Mukuro.
*Ashley and i actually left for the convention on Wednesday, and stayed at my friend Kristie's apartment at SJSU. On Thursday, during badge pickup, we hear that the Mariott had extra rooms available. So, I manage to snag us one for an extra night, instead of having to stay on campus again and deal with her roommates. Score.
The bad:
*So much stress. I'd been stressed for the past few days, and it all sort of accumulated into a giant ball of frustration while having to work on stuff. It was....ugh. I felt bad for everyone.
*Having to park 53456437653456 blocks away from Kristie's dorm at one point, because the parking all around that area is PERMIT ONLY. Later, I managed to snag a good spot.
*Missing Bleach chess.
*Not getting to do Isane longer with my Unohana. D:
*Running into people I didn't want to run into.
*Naruto cosplay is seriously just a giant kage bunshin nowadays. Same goes for Bleach and Death Note.
*Not having Rappy at the convention. But you were getting sick, and flight and the con would have made you worse, so it is better that you didn't come. There's always Comic Con though!
WTF moments:
*Okay, I need to sign up for the newsletter that tells me when I can do stuff again. A couple months ago I had a falling out with some people. Of course, I kept running into them at the con, and of course, I would just sort of.......ignore them. At one point, I'm with Sephy and she stops to talk to them, while I walk a little ways away to wait for her. When she joins me again, she goes, "Yeah, *the person she was talking to* was asking, 'How come Kat's ignoring me?'"
I headpalmed. I headpalmed a lot.
Sephy said her response was, "But....didn't you guys get into a fight?"
"Oh yeah, that's right. Oh well, I'd forgetten about that."
I proceeded to headpalm some more. How come no one TELLS me these things? When you go onto your LJ and proceed to rip someone a new one by telling everyone and their mother on your flist what a terrible person they are, they're gonna ignore you. So uh...sorry for ignoring them? Oh well, I got a good laugh out of it though.
*So I'm eating lunch with Sephy in one of the smaller side lobbies at the Marriot, when I realize she's on the phone. I tune her out, but at one point I happen to catch part of her conversation.
When she hangs up, I tell her, "That was weird. I happen to hear you at one point, and I realize you're not speaking English.. She gave me a XD look and I'm all, "What? I don't expect to hear you speaking Chinese, so it was odd."
For the record, she was speaking to her mom.
On a final note, SEPHY. I STILL HAVE YOUR LELOUCH PIC. I AM HOLDING IT HOSTAGE AS A LESSON NOT TO PUT STUFF IN MY PURSE AND NOT TAKE IT AFTER.
