ANIME EXPO 2007
Hey, look at me. It's not 3 weeks after the convention ended where I'm posting pics (unlike Fanime).
Not much to talk about with this one, really. It kind of sucked all around, though it did have it's good points.
PROS:
* Getting to see people I hadn't seen in a LONG time.
* Getting to meet all sorts of cool people.
* Cosplay!
* D.Gray-man photo shoot.
* All night wanderings with Tasu, Sey, Tako, and the girl whose name I forgot (sorry!).
* Performing in Masquerade.
* CHEAP HOTEL ROOM.
* Staying with Christine and her awesomeness.
* I think Sephy was stalking me. I kept seeing her EVERYWHERE.
* Staying at the Hyatt which was RIGHT THERE next to the convention center.
* People liking the cosplay I had the chance to wear.
* Food places within walking distance.
* CL_B gathering.
* Ten minute wait to get badge.
* Hanging in Ellome's room on Thursday night talking Geass with Stella.
* Playing vampire-off with Alucard before Masquerade.
* Getting to see Kia and Ken-chan (thank you for the CD!).
* Shopping cart.
* Shuuhei.
* Finding out Christine is a Darker than Black fan. WE HAVE TO DO COSPLAY FROM IT.
CONS:
* Having to walk fuckbillion miles in the heat to get anywhere on the convention site.
* Missing the first part of the Bleach photoshoot and not getting to be with my division.
* FORTY-EIGHT DOLLARS FOR PARKING.
* The drama (or at least, the drama I heard about).
* Masquerade rehearsal at 1 am. SO TIRED YET SO PRODUCTIVE.
* The disappointment that was the dealers hall. Three major companies were missing.
* No good panels to attend.
* Not getting to wear Isabella or Ayame (well, I did get to wear him for 10 minutes).
* Not getting to see my friends as long as I wanted.
* The fuckup with judging at Masquerade.
* Bleach photoshoot in fuckbillion degree weather.
* Not getting to see Lee (IF YOU WERE AT THE SHOOT, I WAS ISANE).
* Cosplay stress (but Christine helped me solve it, and I will be forever grateful).
* Not getting to do the ParaKiss orgy at the Masquerade Ball.
* MAN FAYE WAS ON MY FLOOR. Seriously, I was waiting for Christine to come let me into the room, and I see him go into a room down the hall from me. 10 minutes later, he emerged in regular clothes. IT WAS SCARY.
* Having to sleep on the floor. But I didn't care. Brian's a bed hog and none of the other guys tried to rape me.
* Not getting the chance to meet up with Mellie.
* Staying on the tenth floor while everyone else was on the third.
* Walking into the dealers hall and seeing someone I was really hoping to avoid. But isn't that how things work?

So on Thursday we decide we're going to go get food. In our search for a food place, we find a cart. Tony gets in and chaos ensues.
I was in Ellome's room Thursday night, and it was time for us to go to bed. We would talk, then get quiet, then someone would say something and we'd end up talking for another 10 minutes. Around 2 am, Tasu, Tako and Chrish arrived. So Tasu, Tako, Sey, and the girl whose name I don't remember go wandering. We end up at Denny's (after going back to the Hyatt and asking for directions).
My menu. My camera went idle and I hit the shutter to turn it back on and it took a close-up of my menu.
Okay, she ordered cheese fries. That yellow blob? The cheese. Under were the fries, with NO CHEESE on them.
OBJECTION! Sorry it's blurry! I wish I got a pic of Sephy in her Hijikata outfit. Oh well, we'll have to make due with Miles instead.

While waiting in the lobby, Rappy and I see a sexy Balthier. And OMG Cid, GTFO FFXII.
I was showing Rappy how to use my camera, and I get a pic of Chas' feet. We then joke about how I'll post it and all the people with a fetish for her feet will be all, "MMMM CHAS FEET YUMMY." So, here it is, Chas' feet.

And that is it for Anime Expo. The last con of the year will be Yaoi-Con, which is at the end of October. I am so glad I'll be in San Jose, so I can just drive to it. AniMagic = long distance which means flying and too close to YCon which means too much time to request off work and too much money to save up.
