I've had a recurring dream since I was pretty young.
In the dream everyone I know turns into a spider. I am not exactly afraid just very confused and startled. I feel lonely, too, because there's nobody to talk to or share my situation with. So I run away and everywhere I go, the people I see turn into giant spiders. Then I run all the way to the ocean and even the animals around me and the sea creatures turn into spiders. I am left completely alone and I wake up with a dreadful feeling of loneliness.
It has been a couple years since I've had this dream, but we were discussing dreams the other day and someone said it must be symbolic. I never really look up my dreams, but I decided to now. Especially since I'm not afraid of spiders one bit, and i'm not afraid of them in my dreams.
Seeing a spider in your dream, indicates that you are feeling like an outsider in some situation. Or that you may wnat to keep your distance and stay away from an alluring and tempting situation. The spiders is also symbloic of feminine power. Alternatively, a spider may refer to a powerful force protecting you against your self-destructive behavior.
after reading all that it makes so much sense. I often feel like an outsider. I especially did when I was younger. its incredible what these things reveal. I suppose the spiders represent the feelings of being outsider because of my loneliness, but I can also relate it to times when I had self destructive behavior. However, I don't think the whole world was trying to protect me from the drugs.
