Liquid Snake had walked across part of Wonderland, aiming for the Carnival that rose up from the landscape. Somewhere around there, a scrawny little engineer was waiting-- if Otacon had any idea of what was good for him, at least, he would have stayed put. Otherwise, he would have a very irritated soldier chasing after him, and Liquid was very good at finding people.
He'd just passed through another little town-- god, did these places have the strangest names-- and went further towards the Carnival. Gaudy, ridiculous-looking thing that it was. He spotted a lone figure, and walked towards it; his footsteps were practically silent.
"Otacon."
