For a while, the young man seemed to have settled again into the peaceful slumber he had fallen into. After a moment his body tensed with gloved fingers curling on the grass, "Ah..?" The sleep may have been deep, but it seemed to have fallen into being one of the shorter naps, "This isn't-"
Pushing himself up part way to a sit on the grass, the single red wine colored eye fell upon Xion as his head tilted, offering an outwardly pleasent smile, "Did you move me, Miss?" Clearly remembering he'd not been close enough to any grass to find himself on a patch of it by his own doing.

"Yes." she replied, looking a hint apologetic. "I moved you in case you got stepped on - I thought about taking you to an inn, but I thought it was best to wait until you woke up to see what you wanted to do. Did you pass out, sir?"
She looked concerned. Maybe he hadn't been eating.

Vincent spoke as if it was nothing out of the ordinary for a grown man to simply drop. It was for him, of course, and he had grown used to it happening over time after contracting with Dormouse.

A servant? Is he royal? Where are his friends? But a more important and even scarier thought crept up on her - what if that happened again while she was here? Roxas had been out for weeks. It could happen to her too though.
"So I guess you ended up here by yourself like me." she murmured. "I'm Xion, by the way."

It didn't hurt to speak of such a mundane thing, as it was probably going to be found out by others eventually. Gilbert did have reason to worry about that, he supposed. It was probably why he han't wanted him to go off on his own.
He shook his head slowly, "I was lucky enough to have my big brother come here as well," Along with that little brat Oz and Lotti of the Baskervilles, "He's busy elsewhere I'd imagine." Probably off running around with the Vessalius brat. "Vincent Nightray. A pleasure, Miss Xion."

Xion was dressed in black as well. But she wasn't the one to worry about staining things anyway - although it had crossed her mind that maybe she needed to find some alternate things to wear. It's not like anyone was enforcing dress code here.
"Well, it's good you have someone...what's it like to have a brother?"

White gloved hands rested neatly upon his lap after smoothing his sleeves and the frills at the end of shirt sleeves, fingers curled together. At times he did seem to act like a child in a man's body, be it small subtle things or in much more noticable ways.
"It's like having someone there that will always watch over, love, and help take care of you. Big brother has always been good to me when we found eachother again."

"Roxas, Axel and I always look out for each other. Axel said that that's what friends do. Were you and your brother separated?"

That smile of his faltered only a little before returning, "For a while when we were children.." Vincent didn't like bringing up his childhood, or remembering most of it for that matter. It was a subject best left alone for the most part, before being adopted by the Nightray family anyway, "We found eachother again while still children."

Xion didn't really have a childhood to remember, not even from another life. Unless her childhood was Sora's childhood because she was his copy. But technically, all Nobodies (or beings created by Nobodies in this case) lives started at the age they came into being as. There was no such thing as a 'childhood' in Organization XIII. You came, you were named, you were introduced and formerly welcomed, then you were put to work.
"That's lucky for you both. I'm glad. I don't really have a family, but if I did I think I'd want to be with them."

"You may not have family, but you do have friends Miss Xion." His smile was dredfully sleepy, as were his words. His body even rocked very slightly once with a nodding forwards of his head, body catching itself. Vincent had nearly face planted while nodding off again.

"Yeah." she agreed, smiling. "I do."
And she'd even made a few in this world. She watched him fall back asleep. She was content to sit there a while, glad for even unconscious company. But in a little while she;d have to move. The sun would set and then she' have to head back to the Carnival Grounds or find an inn. And she didn't even know how currency worked in this place yet.
[ooc: fin, I guess.]

If anything, something would cause him to slump over to his side to stop the rocking, curled up on the grass. It was a much better place than wher he had fallen the first time.
