Sheena was busy a little farther away, crossing her arms and looking at the items in the marketplace. She hadn't been able to get out a whole lot the past couple of days, but that soldier that had been pursuing was seemingly gone.

For now.

Finally, she found herself walking by Zelos. It took all of two seconds for her to stop, and turn around. Something of a moan was coming out of her mouth, and she was clenching her fists now as well.

"Looking for someone to swoon over you? I don't think you'll find that here."

Oh I knew you'd show up! Admit it Sheena! You got a thing for Zelos~ ^_~

As if Zelos would miss Sheena passing by, he was waiting for her to spot him of course, convinced that she was there for the soul reason of seeing him, I mean why else would she be in the same village as him for?

That smile pulled over his face some as the crimson haired male pulled a huge bunch of flowers from behind his back, holding them out to Sheena as she gave her little jealous rant.

"Well hello there miss Jubbiles~ may I say you're looking as voluptuous as always~" A few flowers in the rather beautiful bunch shuffled, turned to face Sheena and started to sing to her.

Nope, she'll never admit it. 8l

Eyes narrowing at seeing the flowers, she tapped her foot on the ground and shifted her weight to her other hip. She would have been tempted to give him her trademark slap on a normal day, after hearing those words come out of his mouth. But she really did like pretty things, try as she might to keep up the "tough act".

Though, from Zelos of all people...she was unsure if this was something she really wanted.

Sheena jumped as the flowers started to sing to her, and her eyebrow went up. "What the heck?" She asked, curiosity getting the best of her as she leaned forward just a little.

As if this world wasn't strange enough...

She won't deny it's a false statement though xD

Oh now this was a new turn of events, normally there would be a warning that she was about to slap Zelos and mid-warning is when the blow to his beautiful face would be delivered, but today? Today Sheen was far too impressed confused by Zelos' romantic odd bunch of flowers gesture that she was almost speechless all apart from that what the heck comment.

"Ah see! I just knew you'd like them~ Am I good or what?" Pulling Sheena over in a rather brave and stupid move, wrapping his arms around her, still holding those flowers and puckering his lips as his head moved in closer to her cheek as if to actually dare to kiss her.

...Hmph. And look what he's done, he's got her going again. xD

Oh, no. Now he had done it.

When he started to put his moves on her, she wasted no time in sending a slap in his direction. There was no way she was going to let him kiss her. Absolutely no way at all.

"Get your sick hands off of me!" She cried now, squirming to get out of his grip.

Why he did things like this, she would never understand. Right when she was putting her guard down, too.

Well, it was too good to be true anyway's.

It was almost as if Zelos enjoyed the pain of being slapped by that strong and firm hand of the female Zelos believed to be the perfect image of a female. Strong and beautiful~ that perfect hourglass figure and amply cleavage ... he could go on and on, thinking how Sheena was every mans ideal woman but if he'd done that he would have just been a sitting duck for more abuse.

"Awe c'mon now, Sheena there's no need to like that." In other words please hush your voice and be careful about what you say I'm doing ... I'm already being hounded by guards for apparent sexual assault. ... but he'd never say that out loud.

"Why? It's the truth! You...you pervert!" It was an overused word in her vocabulary, but in the climax at yelling at the red head she was never able to come up with a whole lot better.

And, for the millionth time, she wondered what the girls saw in him. Sure, he could be classified as attractive, if he didn't have such a vulgar and arrogant attitude. How anybody could put up with that was beyond her, and it was starting to seem to her that he actually liked the abuse. Why else would he be stupid enough to ask for it? Even Zelos couldn't be that stupid.

Right?

Sheena crossed her arms again, attempting to hold them over the spot where she figured he would be looking. It wasn't as if it would help, really, but it was always worth a shot.

"Oh C'mon Sheena, you know I'm not that bad, sheesh~ " Rolling his eyes, leaning back against the barrels he was standing beside and folding his arms over his chest, in a much more casual way than Sheena was.

It was funny, back at home, back in their own world Zelos would have had a harem of women and girls flocked around him by now ... but in this place? It felt about as far from home as ever.

Maybe that was the reason Zelos was laying it on thick with over friendly attitude. "You can keep those flowers ... I can't stand them singing all day anyway's."

Sheena made a sort of disbelieving grunt, but said nothing for now. She was looking at the flowers when he broke into their thoughts about them. Picking them up, she tilted her head as they started singing again.

"I doubt I could stand it, either. But...I'll see what I can do with them." She finally said, a frown crossing her face. It would just be like him to have a trick in there, or something.

As long as it was out of eye range when she was changing for the night, she figured it would be all right.

Damnit! Why didn't he think of that! It would have been the perfect chance to learn a little a bit more about Sheena, having a hidden spy so to say, in her house ... watching and taking notes. His devious little thoughts played over his face as clear as day as the expression he was holding moments ago faded in to such a sly grin.

"While I got you out here, Sheena, what say we go for a little stroll around the market place ... c'mon~ my company is probably the closest to home you'll get while we're stuck out here."

Home.

The thought swirled in her mind, and a pang of homesickness hit her. It was a distraction from Zelos' expression...at least for a moment. When she finally saw him, she scowled. Normally, she would have rejected the offer. But since he was the only piece of home she had at the moment...

She supposed she would have to put up with him.

"I guess so. But no funny business, you hear me?" Her tone took a more demanding ring to it, and she narrowed her eyes. Just for the extra something in her statement.

It was strange, you'd have thought that by now Zelos would have learnt that when Sheena pulled that face she was pulling at him right about now, that he'd back off and leave her be ... edging on and on about something to Sheena when she was in a mood was like poking a stick into a bee hive.

Then again ... Zelos was an apparent fan of tough love, that and he has a soft spot for the busty female.

"Oh Sheena, why that just hurts me to know you think so little of me~ I'm not the kind of guy who would do such a thing." Though he knows it will probably gain him a slap ... Zelos slipped an arm around those wonderfully curved hips as they walked off together.

Sheena grunted again, and was starting to let her guard down. She hadn't meant to, of course...but the singing flowers were distracting her.

Though, she definitely hadn't missed that unmistakable slip of his arm around her hips.

She stopped, and slapped him again, her eye twitching just a little bit. "If you don't want that pretty face of yours black and blue by tomorrow morning, I would suggest you to stop right now!"

If only she didn't have to put up with him, or if he just toned it down a little she would be happy. But she knew that would happen when she would be compliant to him touching her. Which would be never.

Alright, enough was enough, Zelos was a bit of a pervert at times but he could clearly see he was starting to actually annoy Sheena and seeing as how she really was his only link to home inside this place ... he decided to let it drop.

Nodding with a faint smile as he toned the flirting right down to simply thanking Sheena for saying that pretty face of yours . "In all seriousness Sheena? ... how are you holding up in this place?"

It was his honest feelings, he wanted to know that she was actually safe.

"I'm...well enough, I suppose." Sheena said quietly, looking down and frowning. "I miss home, but...I don't see much of a point in being depressed about it."

Really, she didn't know how she was holding up so well here. Her statement was true, to a degree. In fact, she was feeling very homesick right now. At least Zelos was easing that just a little bit.

However, it was something she'd never admit to. To let something come out like that would mean to have him hang it over her her head for the rest of her life. She wasn't willing to take that chance.

"What about you?"

"Hm? Me? ... Sure I miss home, mostly wondering how Seles is doing ..." what without her exphere and all . His face dropped, he was no longer trying to flirt and tease Sheena the moment he thought about his sister back in their home land, it really was a worry to him. Balling his fists in frustration, yet he saved Sheena one of his 'If anything happens to her! ' rants he was known for giving.

"What say we find a nice little place to rest? Or do you already have a home here?" Zelos had tried not to settle down already, what with them being at war and all, he didn't want to run the risk of being known somewhere and having his enemies attack.
