[ Content ] If you're in the small village of Twinklebat wandering in the middle of the night, look up. There might be a large bat like silhouette by the moon. Open log, feel free to join in.
Waiting till it became dark, Terry glided over the place like a shadow, circling in all directions. This wasn’t like the city where he could leap off one tall building and glide to another. The entire area was surrounded by forest.
It was a rather recent discovery, finding out that this weapon he was given, his ‘shifter,’ was a black suit like his batsuit. Not exactly like it but it had the same designs so it could pass for a good enough imitation. It didn’t take him more than a second to not think about the differences and sneak off, making sure no one saw him, and put it on like he normally did.
He spent a few minutes checking the functions that it did have and found out everything that he needed was still there, minus the fact that his belt was completely devoid of any weapons. But it didn’t matter. He knew those batarangs inside out to the point where he could make them out of tree bark and they’d work.
Gliding high over the forestry, he reached what looked like a small town and, flying over the large walls, landed on top of one of the taller buildings. This was probably the closest place from the Clock Tower so, he had to presume that most people would gravitate towards here at one point or another. Maybe some answers will come with them.
