More Hats...
So I've been busy sewing again. I've been commissioned by a theatre company in South Africa to make some hats for their performers. The first set of hats is for a vocal group called 3 Tons of Fun... the remit was for something reminiscent of old dinner clubs, think Moulin Rouge. I wanted to do something masculine with a feminine twist and had the image of Ewan McGregor in his tux!
So this is the 'Black Tie' Mini Top Hat, exclusively designed for Madame Zingara.

I've also just finished 2 PVC fascinators for my photographer friend
gothindulgence , who's off shooting in an abandoned hospital this weekend for a new gothic clothing company specialising in latex wear. She wanted something fetish inspired and I really wanted to try out a new design!
So this is the 'Feather Fetish' Fascinator (appologies for the not so great pics of these)
I'm also currently working on a polka dot saloon girl styled fascinator for Madame Zingara and a Honalulu Honey fascinator with a few modifications for Miss Zara Ann (burlesque performer and model from the Midlands).
I also want to take this oppertunity to invite anyone who is wnating to order their hats for Whitby in October to do so now... as you may or may not know I AM NOT TRADING AT WHITBY THIS OCTOBER... I'm taking a break, not working and am going to spend my WGW enjoying myself with my friends!! I will be taking pre-orders and will be able to deliver them on the Friday of the weekend (or before by post). I will have my new hat block before then and will be making my own Mini Top Hats in a variety of different colours. I will also have some new designs going up on the site in the next month.
I am also planning to trade at Made in the Shade in Glasgow on the 25th October for those of you who can make it along!
