I figured it was time to write a memoir to those who don't read my journal. Call it my imagined cohorts, if you will.
I've been going to GSU since August 22nd; Thank god I talked my mom out of sending me back to Hampden-Sydney College in Farmville, VA. Capital of nowhere.
Where the only thing to do was frequently harass the kindly Wal-Mart door greeter.
Whats the point of having a door greeter, anyways? its not like people go shopping to say hi to others; if anything, people are more anti-social when they shop because they have a pre-conceived agenda to attend to.
Speaking of anti-social, Georgia State is one of the most unfriendly places I've ever been in my life. I know that when I was in high school, my professors said that college would be different.
But its the fucking same. NO, its worse. People are so afraid to be accepting at this place that they just stick to their respective cliques and ignore all those around them.
Its very irritating. As a result of this un-welcoming environment, i've taken back up my old habit of reading a novel every 3 days or so.
Things with the family are okay, if my mom would just bring the nagging down to an acceptable medium.
Absent father, as always.
Good day, folks.
