cast their burdens on the God who will sustain them

It is 3:25 PM Sunday afternoon and it is 77 degrees outside. It is sunny and breezy.

I am tired as usual. I woke up during the night around 4:30 AM and never was able to fall back to sleep. I finally decided to get out of bed around 7:45 AM. When I came upstairs Carol was getting ready to go to church. Before I was fully awake Carol and I prayed and she left for church.

I spent the morning writing in my paper diary and messing with our main computer. Caleb and Ollie came by around 9:30 AM to give me a birthday gift/a device that enables us to stream music from our computer to our stereo speakers/music streaming device. Caleb installed the device and then left around 11 o'clock AM. Carol got home from church around 12:30 PM. Carol just got up from a nap.

Caleb left Ollie here while he went downtown to a cigar shop. I have spent the afternoon writing in my paper diary and reading from a book titled, 'The Psalms A Christ-Centered Commentary' Volume 1 Introduction: Christ and the Psalms' By Christopher Ash.

Last night I spent the evening read these books before going to bed around 11:10 PM-'A Peace to End All Peace: The Fall Of The Ottoman Empire And The Creation Of The Modern Middle East' by David Fromkin, 'Wonder Confront Certainty: Russian Writers on the Timeless Questions and Why Their Answers Matter' by Gary Saul Morson and I finished reading a story in this volume, 'The Collected Stories of Mavis Gallant'. I have in my library four other volumes containing the short stories of Mavis Gallant.

It is a new week and it looks like this week will be the same. My birthday is on Wednesday August 14. Time keeps flying by! I will close to read and drift.
