weapons of massive destruction

It is 3:22 PM Tuesday afternoon here in south western Michigan. It is very hot and humid gray cloudy day. The earth is on fire these days. We are seeing all the time now the effects of global warming, it can only get worse. We are doomed.

I got up this morning around 7:44 AM. When I came upstairs Carol was dressed and ready to hit the day running. This morning she met up with her cousin's on her Dad's side for coffee and to talk talk talk/she got home around 12:40 PM. I left when she got home for my Session at 1 o'clock/with my Psychologist.

On the way home from my Session at stopped at Gateway Mission thrift store to look at their used books and CD's-I bought these used books and CD's-

'The Inheritance Of Loss' a novel by Kiran Desai (Winner Of The Man Booker Prize 2006)

'Marcus Aurelius: Warrior, Philosopher, Emperor' biography by Frank McLynn

'Chances Are. . .' a novel by Richard Russo

'Footsteps Of The Hawk' Crime Fiction by Andrew Vachss

'Holy Smoke' CD Peter Murphy

'Back From Rio' CD Roger McGuinn

So the day has gone by. I had a normal morning-wrote in my paper diary and read from a book titled, 'Ruined Sinners to Reclaim-Sin and Depravity in Historical, Biblical, Theological, and Pastoral Perspectives' Edited by David Gibson and Jonathan Gibson. This afternoon I have been mainly reading, 'The Age of Atheists: How We Have Sought to Live Since the Death of God' by Peter Watson.

Last night our visitor's from Monroe LA showed up here around 4:30 PM-Carol and I had a nice time of Christian fellowship with Troy and Sandy. It was neat to meet folks who have been watching my Youtube channel for years/solid Christian folks/lovers of solid Christian literature/Reformed doctrines of sovereign free grace.

I will close to have a cup of coffee and wait for Amazon to deliver a book I had ordered awhile back.
