(no subject)
So yay, I went back to the apt last night. It's beginning to feel more and more like home. It's still weird calling it home though. Mike, unfortunately, did not get in until late. Shit went down with his crazy mother and they finally got her admitted to the hospital. Hopefully they can sort out her meds and make things better, because things were beginning to get out of hand. While he was out, Felix and I got dinner at Panera. I hadn't eaten there since I was in Ohio and only a couple of times. Let me tell you -- I love it. I'm going to go all the time now. I had the best dinner... I had soup and half a salad: cheddar & broccoli soup and strawberry chicken salad. It was so amazing. It's such a nice atmosphere and the place is really big. And free WIFI. Not that I have a laptop... but that's still cool.
I'm finally getting excited about going on vacation. Usually I'm dying to go, but with all the new apartment craziness, it's really been pushed to the back of my mind. It'll be so nice to sit around and relax and go fishing and maybe do some writing. I need to be creative if it kills me. And I've just concocted a genius plan. I drink when I'm with my parents but never more than 2. Not because I am weirded out but just cuz I don't feel like it. One night on vacation I am going to get drunk. Ha! This should be fun. I'll probably drink with my aunt Sue, cuz she is hilarious when she drinks. Woo! Yay for fun plans. Anyway, we leave Saturday morning and I have a bunch of crap to do before then. And I'm still trying to decide whether to go back to the apt tonight. Decisions decisions.
I still haven't heard from Taunton Press about an interview, which is annoying. That also means I have to call them tomorrow to let them know I'll be on vacation in case they do plan on calling. What a pain! I want to know now!

um well, my last whale watching trip was pretty intense. but since I don't technically know the whales' intentions, I shouldn't assume they wanted me to die. even though whales are evil and probably did want exactly that.

i'm outgoing. that's pretty clear just by meeting me. and my obnoxiously loud laugh.
