My summary needs a beta
Okay so I've been called out before for having lame summaries, and with so many IRBs going up I don't want to get passed over because of that (because of content, maybe, as I'm sure the "Arthur/OMC" tag is going to send some people running, but I don't want it to look boring). I'm also not sure how to list the warnings, because of one not-all-that-important but possibly questionable dream sequence. So if you have a moment to give me your opinion, please take a peek? So okay, the warnings. Honestly I haven't seen too many fics with warnings for addiction or addiction-shaming but one of the main characters in this fic is an all out Somnacin addict, and the phrase "fucking junkie" gets tossed around several times, so I figure it's worth warning for. I'm also kind of tempted to specify the OMC in the Arthur/OMC as Roger instead of Ben because Ben shows up first, and is not particularly fuckable, but I guess anyone willing to read a fic with OCs at all won't be fazed by that. I hope.
AND THEN, THERE ARE SMALL SPOILERS
AKA the triggery/dub-con/something. The long and the short is that Arthur has a dream (a normal, non-Somnacin dream) in which he forces himself on Eames. It's not a shared dream so it's not really Eames, and as far as projections go he enjoys it, but it is somewhat violent and a little..."whoa," if you know what I mean...? (not like, Darkfic!Whoa, a little whoa) Can a projection consent and if not, does that automatically make it non-con!? I really don't want to label this thing non-con for something that doesn't actually happen. But is "possibly triggering material" enough to cover Arthur surprise-buttsexing his own subconscious?
Someone had better like this fic because it has been a beast in my brain, for serious >:O
