Stef + cash = clusterfuck
I knew it was going too well at Chapters. I was so comfortable working in giftware. It is an easy job (despite the fact that it's physically tiring) and it fills my time. Now they want to start training me in cash too?? I DON'T LIKE CASHIERING AND I DON'T LIKE NUMBERS!!! I am numerically challenged! It is the LAST thing I wanted to do, which is why I did NOT check the "cashier" field in my application.
Counting money and using the computers... ICK! I am sure it is because Christmas is coming up and they'll need more people to work the tills, but that is EXACTLY the time I do NOT want to be on cash - when there is a long line! And lord help us all if someone gives me more change after I've punched their amount into the till and opened the drawer! My mind goes blank for math when I am put on the spot. Not to mention the fact that there is a literal MOUNTAIN of new Christmas giftware that will need to be put out on the floor over the next few weeks.
I leave it to the Chapterian gods to spare me from the hellish nightmare that is cash. That is not where I belong!! Oh the humanityyyy!!! :(
