I finally have all the items I need to make a wand. I just need to sit down and DO it. Oh.. forgot superglue. I know, not very wizardy but I would hate to have the emerald fall out. Mm? Yes emerald. Thanks to a friend, I was pointed to a bunch of super cheap raw inferior grade emeralds and I snagged a bag. I found several that looked neat enough to use. It helps that it is my favorite type of rock. This should be a fun project, half woodworking, half lapidary.
Sometimes I wish I didn't have so many interests, I spread myself so thin I never have enough experience to get good at anything. Other times I am glad I have a lot of interests so I won't dwell on how much I screw up. I think I need to go rockhounding again.
