24 Hours of Happy (2AM)
We return into a building, and this was a lot better overall, even though it didn't have epic moments like the 1AM hour. Moving into multiple rooms and hallways makes the experience more varied, and there were a ton of professional dancers, break dancers, and people with bizarre movements. Luckily, while they went into various rooms more than twice while inside the building, they didn't take too long to move back out into the street, where there were still some crowds at 2AM in the morning.
This hour had the first post-video cameo, with a guy wearing tattoos and a long beard appearing after his video finished in a break dancer's video immediately after his in the background. Up until this point, most lead participants would simply disappear between transitions. We also had our first pet, with a woman walking her little dog, who was inevitably going to be picked up and danced with near the end of the song. And we also had our first set of kids, with one boy dancing timidly in the building, and the hour ending with three little girls and their guardian dancing around the streets of LA, the largest group so far.
The final video involved a teleportation to another part of LA, with said girls entering a movie theater.... I wonder what movie they're planning to watch....? =)
