Crochet in public on WWKIP day?
In the absence of a dedicated event...
WWKIP (worldwide knit in public) day is approaching fast (Saturday 9th June 2007) so the Rotterdam fiber addicts have decided to celebrate by doing it outside together...
The details:
From 13.00 to 17.00 Saturday 9th June 2007 in Vroesen Park, near Rotterdam Zoo (Bus 33, 44 or 49 to
Blijdorpplein). We really wanted to do it in the zoo, but cost proved a little too much!
The weather should be good, but in case it is not we will retreat to cafe Blijdorp ( Stadhoudersplein 131,3038 EA ROTTERDAM)
We're having a Stitch'n Grill (knitting and bbq-ing) so bring food and drinks for the bbq if you so wish, as well as yarn, needles, hooks, etc.
We're planning on having a 'yarn bar' for people to swap their unwanted stash/books/supplies. All crafts welcome!
