prague
I got here (Prague) a couple of days ago. My plane ride over was pretty good. I definitely recommmend flying British Airways, they had about fifty movies, tv shows, and a bunch of music that you would custome make into your own play list to listen to.
My roommate is from Michigan, but my two other roommates are from Holland and they is a British girl also living in the apartments. The part of the city we live in isnt that amazing, but actually Prague is an incredibly beautiful city. God do they love American music, even if its shitty pop music or music from teh fifties. Its hard to get use to the currency because 200 koruna is 10 dollars, so if something was 345 koruna its about 17 dollars and that can get confusing. Also theres an ungodly amount of snails around our apartments and at night we keep stepping on them which is the most disgesting cruching sound you can think of. But theyŕs a lot of walking tours such as the, ghost prague tour, old jewish town, frank kafka, the zoo. We are trying to decide where to go. Everyone in our group is really cool. Two of my roommates are from Holland and another girl is from England. Tomorrow we have orientation then afterwards going to the mall to pick up some stuff that they dont have in our area. I hope everyones semester is starting out great.
