I was just like to add that I hate you. Not in the actual mean way, but in the "Becuase I looked at your website I went and bought 50 dollars in yarn to make random things, hoping one day to acheive something as great as your designs" kind of hate. I've wanted to spin for a long time to to make my own yarn, but I think my boyfriend would kill me because I do too much already.

I wish there were more words in the Thesaurus to tell you what I think about your hatttts.

we each make things in our own way :)
i'm sure you'll find your own thing with it and come up with something that pleases you. just don't have any preconseived notions in your head about what you want it to be. let it just form slowly like coral or rock sugar :)

how long have you been crocheting?

5 or 6 years. I did it off and on for a while. I mostly write, so that takes up a lot of my time. Between books I crochet like mad. I tried to pick up knitting and quickly tossed it aside. I dabbled in wood working and made some really bitchin free form candle holders that my shop teacher kept. Once I really get into the gritty stitches of crochet and learn everything well I want to get into free forming.

I just really like the idea of making your own string/yarn. I've seen people doing it for years and I've wanted to do it for a while. The only problem is is that I want to do it on an actual gigantic spinging wheel on my front porch. I would just spin my days away.

I read a lot of fairy tales though.
