Greetings

I saw the first Kildeer cry his greeting, his voice muffled by the roar of the airplane engines. He and his friends swooped playfully near the little window at my seat. As we slowly taxied into the airport, the little plovers spun and dove beside us, just like dolphins leaping alongside the bow of a ship coming into harbor.
