Summer Update
Hey all, I still live.
Plenty of stuff happened this summer, sorry I didn't post at all. I barely read LJ anymore, don't have the time!
So here is a summary of stuff that happened this summer:
1 - Got engaged (see previous post)
2 - Quit raiding in WoW, and almost WoW altogether (I barely play once a week now)
3 - Gotten involved in various boardgaming groups throughout Atlanta. I usually play games twice a week, even though some weeks I go up to 3. I also started to host a night every 2 weeks, and we usually have a healthy group every time.
4 - Had a trip to PR in August to meet some visiting family from Spain. Was lots of fun.
5 - Had my first migraine attack, and a bad one at that. Doctor said that from the symptoms I described, it probably felt as bad as a mild stroke. Had to go get a CAT scan and everything. Not happy times. But it ended up being just a bad bad bad migraine. My brain is healthy :P
6 - Along with the boardgamage, I have been getting involved in boardgamegeek.com writing reviews and session reports. Great site with great content.
7 - On the work front, everything is going great. The company had a record client satisfaction score, at 9.42 out of ten or something like that. This of course meant a healthy quarterly bonus for Q2! And we are looking good to break 9.5 in Q3 (more bonus!).
8 - No great video games this summer. Got Metroid Prime 3 and beat it on Normal, half-way through veteran now. Waiting for Guitar Hero 3 anxiously.
9 - Can't drink reg. mt Dew anymore. Ewwwww its so sweet.
