In New York. Missed my flight this morning cause I didn't actually turn on my alarm last night when I was setting it. Threw a tantrum and then bought a ticket to fly out of Oakland, and not for $700 which was awesome. Watched Elf, Enchanted, and parts of A Christmas Story on direct TV on the flight. Then at the Airtrain this guy about my age who had been on the flight I noticed was wearing a Jewish star necklace. So I asked "Which birthright trip are you going on?" Not mine it turns out, but we still had a nice conversation about Bernstein and music on the subway into Manhattan. Plus we know a few of the same people, cause the Jewish community is small :)
