Hmmm, I did everything, like you said, and my outcome is not the same as yours. I've checked it twice, so I don't think that I made a mistake. Here's my result (I took the same base as you, to be sure that something was wrong):

I think something must gone wrong from the first channel mixer, because from there the results were a little bit different.
Anyway, I thought you should know this, so I'm downloading the psd now. Thank you! Great coloring by the way :)

oh ok. ok i just fixed it. I forgot to write down on Step#11 to set the Opacity to 33%, so that was my mistake.

and i figured out what you did wrong you forgot to
set the opacity on Step #07 to 72%,
once you put in those opacity settings to the need steps , you icon should turn out like mine..
Please let me know if its still not like mine.

I did set the opacity to 72% on Step #07. I checked mine with your psd and I figured out that you wrote, in the tutorial, Step #04 Red:+83, but in your psd the red in the channel mixer layer is +82. It's not such a big deal, but it's something :P But what I think is remarkable, is how slightly different the graphs are in the level and curves layer. Those on the background. In the curves layer it's the light grey one and on the Levels layer the black ones. It's weird because the settings are the same now :) Maybe the cause is that I use a different version of photoshop than you or else I can't imagine why the outcomes are so different.

i just check it. & its supposed to be +82 not +82 i was typing so fast that i must have accidentally pressed 3 instead of 2 and i didn't check it. thanks for pointing it out.

Um, perhaps its because you are using a version of photoshop im not sure. What version are you using?. try adjusting some of the settings.

The psd turns out a little bit different than your final result :P But at least he isn't as orange like he was when I followed the tutorial :P

This is what I get with your psd. It's not exactly the same as your final step in this tut, but it's still beautiful :)

i dont think you did any mistakes. No matter how much i try not to do any mistakes in comments and i read over them, after i post them i see that i have a mistake or too.

it gets annoying when you have to delete the comment and re-type it again with no mistakes. Haha its just me i always do mistakes. lol

Haha, I have that too, you know. Reading my comment a couple of times and when I post it and read it over I think: gosh. Mistake. Haha :P I like English better than my own language so I'm still learning how to speak it quicker and better :P

Cool, what is your native language? Your English is really good. I wouldn't of known you were learning English.
