short pyro ending scene (inspired by Roguedemonhunte's fic ending)

John "Pyro" Allerdyce :

I had thought I had lost everything when I left, I thought I'd be hated when I had returned. And in part, I was. I hated myself, the battle that I waged within myself it's never ending. I'm looking for what everyone in the world is looking for a place to call my own, someone to love and to be apart of this big, bleak, cold and lonely world. As I watched you stand there and stare at me, as I felt your lips on mine. I knew I I had found something and someone that I could love and call my own.

"I gave you the part of me I could never give away." John said, as he reaches into his pocket, mostly out of habit. And he felt the lonelyness in his pocket, where his soul, his lighter used to rest. He had given it to Kitty. Almost in an attempt to say 'Good-bye' and 'I'll be back someday.'

" I told you I'd never walk away, I lied." John said, as he looked up to the stars, and than he glanced back down to the ground and started walking away from the graveyard, the place they had kissed just moments ago and he stuck his hands into his pockets. He knew that he wasn't alone in the world, but at times he felt it. He knew this wasn't the end, only the beginning, it was the intermission there would be more to come. Another adventure for both of them.

"I walk these streets alone, on the Bulervard of Broken dreams." John said quietly, as he walked off into the distance, he walked off into the darkness. And an odd feeling came over him, in that darkness he felt comforted. Because he knew when he was in the darkest of spots, in life and in emotions a Shadowcat would be watching over him. He smiled.

The darkness wasn't as bad as he thought it would be, without a light it was almost soothing. He was sitting under an U shapped stone bridge, the creek he was sitting by, the water running it sounded pretty nice. It was a good thing that he had found the bridge, because it had started to rain again, and it was raining hard.

What was it about that girl that entranced him so much, she was like his ultimate flame, he had been entranced with her so much that it hadn't been funny. He could hear the rain beating down ontop of the bridge as he sat there his back on the cold hard rocky cement and he let out a heavy sigh, of releif and of frustration, and pain.

Leaving Kitty behind wasn't something he really wanted to do, and he didn't really want to walk away either. The look on her face as he walked away, he knew she was crying. Crying in the rain, because he was being a fucking dumbass and walking away.

That was the thing that frustrated him the most, the fact that he loved her. She knew it, he knew it. He kissed Kitty twice. It meant something, it meant something to both of them. But the life they both lived they couldn't love each other. She was one of the X-Men and he was once one of The Brotherhood of Mutants member. He couldn't just waltz back into her life.

It was a short scene that i thought was fitting for a scene. It takes place after Jen's fic ends. I know it sucks the big suck! lol
