Hello all! This weekend I'm driving down to Peotone to visit Matt, yeah! Anyways to Em's b-day celebration. She's right we paid about $130 between 5 of us. I think I covered most of Em's bill at least the chocolate cake she got at Buffy's. It was a fun night! We stated the night with a girly mixture that ended in breeze, then I bought her a red headed slut, michelle bought her a three wise men - there's a classic em picture to go along with that drink- then we all had a oatmeal cookie shot. That was good! After that we headed to Buffy's. There Em and I tired Hurricanes which were not so good they had cocconut it them. So we traded them in and got daquris. I drank half of mine over the 3 hours I think we chilled there. I had to drive and I remember 3 drinks and I'm over the limit. So I took it easy! Em got buzzed but not wasted. But she had fun. Then Donna decided to lay in the parking lot - picture of that one too - All and all it was a good night.
Yesterday was the family b-day party with Em. It was nice just chatting with her parents adn their friend lynn. The dinner was great. We had steaks and they were cooked to perfection. Then after dinner her parents got a cake from Deerfield. The cake tasted so good but the picture on it was the effile tower it was so detailed. The cake was beautiful. After dinner it was movie time. Em and I had rented Raising Helen. It was not a chick-flick in the sense of lovey and dovey bullshit rather it was about Hellen raising her late sister's children. The movie was more about the children and about Helen becoming a parent. There was a love guy but that was not the whole part of the story. It was about the children. One movie Em and I both cried watching. Some tears were from sadness bt others where becuase we were laughing so hard. One quote was
"The Easter bunny's not coming he joined 50 cent"
Than another moment was during ther most corny scene in the movie I sat up and made "blah sound" and Em just starting cracking up. I may be in love but their still is the love nazi in me. It was a good night. I hope Em has a good weekend in the Quad cities!
Time to shower and get ready for my drive to Peotone!
I'm hoping to go and see some fireworks this Sat. at Navy Pier and hopefully hand out with the college crew.
Buh-Bye
