Support Needed...
CALLING ALL... well.. SUPPORTERS..lol and those who are just tryin to shut me up or see what it is all about..
It is not the project that I was originally planning.. this is WAAAAYYYYYYYYYY better.
Before anyone gets all excited/ahead of themselves. I have thought this through.. a bit (lol). It is ZFU's main mission right now to get Zack on TV (first, Jimmy Kimmel). Now.. hang on a second.. and let me explain the steps.
Step..1= EMAIL Jimmy's show and request Zack's appearance. Done! I will continue to bombard them with email until they either block me or put him on!
Step..2= Start a petition to get Zack on the show. DONE!
This is where YOU ALL come in. We need as many signatures on this petition as possible. And if you have some design abilities, banners and what not would rock!
This is going to take some dedication on this. And assuming (which I shouldn't do) that ZFU-ers are hardcore fans, we WILL get him on this show!! A Show!
This is the first email I sent to Jimmy's show::
I must know!! How can we, the fans (ZFU), get Zack Hexum on your show?? You may recognize the last name (he is the younger brother of 311 frontman Nick Hexum). Do not let this sway your decision, though. Zack is AMAZINGLY talented. YOU MUST MUST MUST... have him on your show. www.zackhexum.com , www.myspace.com/zackhexum . If you need to hear what he sounds like, we can help. If you need pics, we can help. If you want a loaded petition, we have it covered. PLEASE let us know what we need to do in order for this to happen. Till then, check him out!

If for SOME reason, Jimmy does not listen, and even if he does, we will be sending this petition to other shows such as Letterman, Leno, Today, GMA, Early Show, Regis and Kelly, The View, Ellen and so on and so forth. So, when signing, PLEASE DO NOT SPECIFY A MESSAGE TO JIMMY,!! He is just step one!
Now some FAQ (yes, we have that arealdy)
We have had several people ask some good questions and leave some feedback that made us think.
1.) Can I put this on my website/myspace/livejournal/etc? Absolutely. The key here is to get the message out. The more this is spread around, the better. The key here, is to KEEP IT AWAY FROM ZACK at all costs. Can you help if he checks out your profile and sees it? no. Can you help it if he hears about it in your conversation? yes. See what we mean? AWESOME!
2.) Zack has been on Letterman and Kilborn. This is a very good point. He was on Kilborn TOO long ago. He was on Letterman with Michael Buble doing Michael Buble music. This is to expose Zack's music. Good points, though! Might be handy when pushing later.
3.) Keep him on late night. Although this is understandable, it is not necessarily realistic. MILLIONS of people watch daytime talk shows. MILLIONS of people watch late night talk shows. Those MILLIONS.. probably aren't ALL the same people. Trying to reach as many people as possible. We need the first breakthrough on a show and then we can hit the other shows with a power that is to be feared.
If there are any other comments/suggestions/questions.. PLEASE do not hesitate to ask/say. It may just help Zack out in the long run.
