[There's a pause, since Roxas sort of knows this guy. And again, he can sort of be helpful]

You can't leave here. Aqua and Ven are here.

And I'm not Ven. I'm Roxas. [got it memorized?]

[Give it a few minutes before he takes his gear back from his pokemon. His mouth opens to say Ven's name, but of course, Roxas pounds him with all that information. So he's left just staring for a few seconds. His confusion prompts his next question to be a little bit straightforward.]

... if you're not Ven, why do you look like him?

Alright--Roxas, was it? Can you tell me about this place?

The whole place is called Johto, and it's a region in a larger world. You're probably in New Bark Town, which is where everyone starts. The world's got these creatures called pokemon, which you can catch and train or breed. You can pretty much do anything, but most people travel around and get the badges.

Some of them, I think. It depends on how well they're trained. Pokemon are like pets. You have to discipline them and stuff.
