Critical Capture, Round 4: Submission details
This is criticalcapture’s Submission guidelines! In case you finish writing your fic early, we're posting this so you won't have to wait until September to submit. Submitting early also gives you a chance to claim another prompt.
Important dates
Prompting period: May 8 - 22, 2017
Prompt reveals: May 24, 2017
Claiming period begins: May 26, 2017
Check in for early claimers (May 26 - Jun 30): (minimum of 500 words) July 31, 2017
Claiming period ends: September 8, 2017
Deadline of fic: (minimum of 1500 words) September 15, 2017
Posting: September 25, 2017
Reveals: October 2, 2017 (Tentative)
Professor Oak, what are the RULES?
1. All final drafts must be submitted on or before September 15, 2017, 11:59PM SST, but we encourage early submissions!
2. The minimum word count is 1500 words. Exceeding the minimum is always encouraged though.
3. We’d like to stress that just as we do not accept prompts with noncon, dubcon, and underage sex, we will also not be accepting fics with graphic descriptions of these themes.
4. Please warn and tag your fics properly!
5. Please, in under no circumstances, submit an unfinished fic.
6. All fics are to be submitted via AO3’s “Post to fulfil” function.
7. Format your fics properly, and please avoid editing them during postings.
8. Please "Post" your fics, and don't leave them in "Draft" mode. Fics in "Draft" mode will not be considered a final submission.
9. If you have any questions, please check the FAQ in case they’ve been answered.
