There's two light novels. Vampire Knight: Ice Blue's Sin is the first one and the first chapter of it has been translated here in PDF form. This is the volume that contains Kaito's backstory but I haven't ever found a summary of that chapter, baw. Though apparently a Chinese distributor released an English version? Preview here.
The second light novel is Vampire Knight: Noir's Trap. I know almost nothing about this volume other than there is a chapter that focuses on the girl that crushes on Zero. Have a link to pretty pictures.
Viz has released the manga volumes 1-11 in English as well as the fanbook. The artbook should come out sometime this year as well. Support the artist, yeah! \o/
