Photoshop is Backkkk!!
I've attained Photoshop for my Mac, and I'm celebrating with a picspam post. I've been doing them a lot at my Tumblr and they will all probably make their way here eventually, but for now, this is a Sex and the City specific one. I am a HUGE Carrie and Big fan. In celebration of the new movie coming out May 28th, I'm doing a picspam of my favorite storyline- the affair. There are a couple animations and a banner as well (the same one as below, with different dialogue).
Carrie and Big: The Big Time Part One
Carrie voice-over: And just when I thought I was safe… (Carrie is at the food table eating cheese; she turns and runs into Big)
Big: Hello.
Carrie: Mmm. Hey. Cheese. (point to her mouth, he nods) Hello.
Carrie voice-over: …I ran into the man I’d been happy with for five minutes.
Big leans in and kisses Carrie’s cheek, flustering her.
Carrie: Right. Well. Hi.
Big: I thought I might see you here.
Carrie: You did? (pause) Where’s Natasha.
Big: She missed the boat.
A man runs into Carrie, knocking her into Big. He steadies her.
Carrie: Very crowded. Okay, well I gotta…Dominick Dunne is holding my place in the bathroom line. (she hastily leaves)
Carrie voice-over: Big and I, trapped together on a boat, without dates. We were two miles off-shore. There was no way off. Children and women with emotional baggage first.
Later, Carrie is on the lower deck leaning against the railing. Big comes up beside her.
Big: Boo.
Carrie: Jesus. (laughs nervously)
Big: So what was that back there?
Carrie: I…I don’t know.
Big: Well, can we have a conversation anymore?
Carrie: I don’t know, can we?
Big: Around Brooklyn, there’s going to be a mutiny. Pass it on.
Carrie: (relaxes and laughs) That’s a spiffy opener.
Big: I try. (long pause) So what are you…are you…are you seeing anyone, or…?
Carrie: Yeah, I am. He’s great. He’s perfect, actually.
Big: Where is he? Mr. Perfect?
Carrie: Oh, he’s home, I didn’t want to subject him to the cold food and slimy media leeches.
Big: (uncomfortable) Good idea.
Carrie: Present company excluded. (Big laughs)
Big: (as he looks her up and down) That’s some outfit, kid.
Carrie: Oh, really? You think so? (Big nods) Well, if you like this one, you would have loved the one being held hostage on 74th and Lexx. (Big laughs again) Good to see you.
Carrie walks off, leaving Big standing alone.
Carrie and Big: The Big Time Part Two
There is a knock on Carrie’s door; she thinks it’s Aidan, who just left.
Carrie: (going to open it) Well, that was very fast- (it’s Big, she freezes) What are you doing here?
Big: (out of breath) Didn’t you get my message?
Carrie: No, I paused it. (Big makes a frustrated sound) What are you doing here?
Big: (looks to the elevator) That was him, wasn’t it? The perfect guy?
Carrie: Yes, it was, and he’s coming back, so… (Big turns away, runs his fingers through his hair, walks back) What do you want?
Big: (comes to the doorway and leans his head against it, squeezing his eyes shut before opening them to look at her) I don’t know.
Carrie: (after a long pause) No. Go home to your wife. (she starts to close the door; Big keeps it open) Go.
Big: (angry, sad laugh) I’m so fucked up.
Carrie goes to close the door, holds it slightly open for awhile before finally closing it.
Carrie voice-over: I had no idea what else Big was going to say. And I’m not sure what bugged me more, that I didn’t know or that I cared.
Carrie presses play on her machine.
Big: Hey Carrie, I’m here on your corner. I know you’re home, pick up! I, uh, I…Jesus. I miss you. (Carrie closes her eyes, about to cry, and leans her head against the wall) I can’t fucking stop thinking about you. There you have it. (Carrie hastily turns off the message)
Carrie voice-over: There it was. Exactly what I needed to hear- a year too late.

Big: Carrie! Carrie, wait! I haven’t explained this very well. The thing is- (the elevator dings)- fuck! I miss you.
Carrie: Too bad. (goes into elevator, Big follows her) Do not come in here, don’t you follow me in here!
Big: I have to talk to you. (takes her by the arms)
Carrie: What? What is it? What is it you HAVE to say?
Big: I made a mistake. (kisses her, she pushes him away)
Carrie: Fuck you!
Big: I love you. (kisses her again, she pushes him again)
Carrie: Fuck you! (Big kisses her again and they back into the elevator wall; she begins to kiss him back)
Carrie voice-over: My mind was yelling how angry I was. But my heart. My heart.
Carrie: (as it gets more heated and he kisses his way down her neck, whispering) Oh. Fuck me.
Carrie voice-over: (Big lights a cigarette and Carrie takes it, camera pulls back to reveal they are in bed together) And just like that, I lost my head.

Carrie: (as she flashes back) It was great.
