Follow Me Into The Desert...
Last day in the desert... well, unless you count tomorrow, when I will be rising around 3 am to catch a 7:40 flight (the airport is 2 hours away from Palm Desert, which is my current location). Kinda worried about Kelly, and yes, I know it's senseless. She's snowed in up north (Mt. Shasta area). I hope she gets home OK.
This holiday season- best in a long time. Got all the shopping done on time, got to spend it with family, all in all a low stress level, and not to sound materialistic, but the presents rocked: Tone Bone, NEW CAR STEREO, gift cards, and FOOD FOOD FOOD... and a great book that I've been reading since my flight took off last Thursday.
Despite the superficiality, materialism, stress, bustle, and dread that most of the people I know associate with the season, I enjoyed myself. I will enjoy rocking out with the Tone Bone on New Year's especially.
