Smelly Feet
Went to see Happy Feet this weekend. Thought it would be a nice, innocent, cute movie. Not nice, certainly not innocent, and smelling distictly of Al Gore. Not only did it have the most ridiculous plot but it seemed to be the children's version of An Inconvient Truth. It made humans look stupid in every way, and I'm sure it was not any coincidence that the one vehicle in the movie was an SUV. I am all for a clean environment and animals and doing our part, but - honestly - this global warming crap is driving me crazy. Al Gore and the rest of those glorious politicians are well on their way to stripping Americans of their right to freedom, and we're simply smiling and nodding as they do it. It really boggles my mind.
On a lighter and much less opinionated note, I'm on the third book in the Harry Potter series, and it's so good! The embarrassing tragedy, though, is that it gave me a nightmare last night! I can't even believe it! I'm getting nightmares from a childrens book. I think that basically solidifies the fact that I had a sheltered childhood. : ) No complaints, though.
