Wow...just crawled out of a huge pile of cash. Almost drowned in it even. But survived...barely. There's 14 min. left till this bank teller will go home for the evening, but I have to say, I've had a good day. I think it's right for me to feel just a bit victorious to have just taken in a $13,000.00 cash deposit and have my drawer balance afterwards. Yay for me. And the email went out today for all who wanted to join the bank's softball team - the Beacon Bravehearts - and I thought, "Why not - give my somewhat lacking athletic career a fresh start." As far as they know, I'm a star and I never almost scored a basket for the other team in high school. So, come March, I'll be donning my glove and baseball cap in attempt to be the next Babe Ruth or Barry Bonds.
