Tonight I'm audition for the role of Juliet in that so very well-known Shakespeare play. I'm mucho excited. I almost don't even care if I get the part or not, but really I do. I'm so cliche, but I've wanted to play Juliet since I read the play in high school. The reading for the audition is the part right after Juliet finds out about Tybalt's death but before Romeo gets to her room. It's really sad. I've been to afew audtions up here now, and they've all been sad readings. If this keeps up, I'm going to be a pro at crying on cue.
I saw what I thought was a really amazing movie this weekend called The Illusionist. It was a mystery love story...really good: murder, magic, blood, princes vs. paupers, somewhat coruppt law enforcement, and a twist at the end. I'd highly recommend it. And for anyone who knows them, the assumed bad guy looked very much like a young George and the police chief like a bearded James.
