(no subject)
The heating was broken in the coffee shop this weekend while I was working. Six hours of no heat with three doors constantly opening, letting in gusts of well-below freezing winds. Seeing as I'm one of those people who are always cold - who is continually nudging the temperature higher in the car, a general climatic annoyance to most men and alot of women - this weekend was downright miserable.
And the Huskers lost. I think Daly thought he was playing catch with the other team's designated interceptor guys. The interceptor's kept forgetting to throw it back to Daly, though. Overall, not a good football game or game of catch.
I am thoroughly crabby, and this bugs me. What bugs me more is my dear co-worker at the station next to me inquiring as whether I'm ok because I seem "upset". I recall someone once suggesting I whip her with a computer mouse (or was it a real mouse), and today just may be the day I'm driven to do so.
On a more positive note, I went Christmas shopping this weekend which I almost always enjoy. I always feel a bit triumphant when I find a gift for my youngest brother that is not a movie or a video game or anything similar to those two. He is certainly a child of the 21st century where entertainment technology is concerned.
