Good morning everyone, I was wondering about the recent events surrounding the water pokemon, and I can't stop worring about the possibility that  this fenomenon may spread to the other types .

So i want to ask you, kindly of course, that if you notice any behavior changes in any other pokemon that isn't a water typem, please report it in the ( Read more... )

Hello Ms. To answer your question, only Astina the Eevee I have seems to be bothered at all by the events occurring and I don’t think it is due to the same thing effecting the water Pokemon. I think he is upset that the water Pokemon are so upset.

[Astina denies this by looking disinterested… until it notices the newly evolved compatriot on the screen. He nods at it in greeting. ]

[Opal looks at the Eevee at the screen and gives the nod back]

Hello to you too. I was going to ask to report any signs of strange activity, that way we can be prepared in case this spreads to the others.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

I am afraid I haven’t heard anything about what might be causing this.

[He looks over at his Pokemon as if maybe they have a clue, but none of them being water types they really have no idea. ]

What ever it is seems to have driven the water type Pokemon so crazy that they don’t even want to communicate with non-water types to tell them what is going on.

[Anew just sighs dissapointed]

I would love to help the others, but all that I can hear is distress calls and none of them has any information about the possible causes, it is really frustrating [one of Anew's hands runs through Opal's hair, as if she's trying to reassure herself that this issue won't affect her pokemon...yet]

It is upsetting to see so many Pokemon distressed like this. I wish I knew more about them… then maybe I could guess what the problem might be.

[Oh for a proper scanning device. ]

The PokeGear really hasn’t offered any useful information on this subject.

[Opal, feeling her owner's distress, leans quietly into her hand]

I would like to know that too. There's so much I don't know much either, despite the time I have spent here

Have you been here for a long time? I know this must be an unusual event but, has anything like this happened before?

I been in here for over five months [Is the first time she makes an account of her time here, and it quite surprises her]

Not so long a go we had an episode related to the bug types, they appeared in mass and forced some of us to lock ourselves in order to stay safe

Strange that these kinds of events only affect one type of Pokemon at a time. The water Pokemon don’t appear to be attacking so much as they seem to be trying to leave the water… Maybe there is something in there they don’t like?

It is a possibility, but I haven't heard any other report about the water affecting other types of pokemon.

I mean, travelers give that same water to their pokemon to drink!

[Nods and agrees. ]

Obviously what ever it is in or affecting the water only bothers the water Pokemon and it isn’t going to cause any trouble for any other type.

I wonder if being in a Pokeball would calm down these Pokemon.

I would like to think that [She sighs and pauses for a moment, when she starts speaking again, her eyes drifts to the lower corner, as if trying to hide the real extent of her concern]

It is frustrating, this whole situation, and not being able to do anything about it

If we keep looking around maybe we will be able to discover the cause and then we can do something.

[Smiles. ]

I will let you know if I find out anything new, if you would like.

I guess that the only thing we can do [A short pause and then a soft, friendly smile]

Thank you, I appreciate it
