For Melissa and Sarah Bowe
This is mostly a message for Melissa and Sarah, but also a memory for me.
Sis Shanahan passed away last night.
She had a heart attack some time last week and was on the up and down over the past week. She was a wonderful woman, turned 90 last summer. I have known her since I was six years old. She was a dedicated member of our church choir, and you couldn't find a nicer or kinder woman. She will be greatly missed, but I find peace in knowing that until this past week, she was never really an "old lady."
