An update? *gasp*
As usual, I read this every day but don't contibute often anymore. I am exhausted so this will be short.
Teaching is going better. My chorus and band kids had their first concert day (we actually had 3 total performances today!). I am very proud of them, and I need to take compliments better. I made it all about the kids, I am just their teacher. =) I did get a poinsetta and 3 bouqets of flowers though!
And to top it all off, I have laryngitis again. And yes, it was during the concerts when I had to speak to the parents and everything. Oy!
Laryngitis--a vocalists worst nightmare. If I get it one more time, or this one lasts awhile, I am going to a voice specialist. There is no way I am getting nodes or anything. I want to be able to perform in the summers. I miss singing for me. I want to get a new voice teacher too. Margaret, I miss you!!!!
I am starting to like teaching more. I think it's just getting used to the idea that takes awhile.
