Life as Colleen
So here I am... officially a college student and having a great time. I left for Truman on Saturday and let me tell you the Friday before was awesome. Though I drank 10 more beers than it takes me to get drunk... yeah you can imagine! lol I got a lot of things out that I had been waiting to say/do all summer. I felt accomplished yet so empty when I left the Morrow's house. I sobbed the entire way home; It might have been the alcohol talking, but I think I would've cried anyway. Had the worst hang over of my entire life 3 hours later when I had to wake up! The trip up here was long but now that I'm here I'm so happy.
We had about a million meetings sunday which were actually kind of cool because there are some HOT guys on my floor and we didn't waste any time that night! Sunday night my awesome roommate, Jordie, and 3 girls down the hall, Meredith, Kelly, and Brandi, and I went to a Betta party met some hotties and then shot over to the AKL party. Drank a little, had a good time getting lost in the Kirksville!
My psychology class is pretty cool. It's experimental psych and there's a couple cute guys in there. I thought the professor was a little weird until today when I had a chance to meet all the psych majors and professors... wow he's soooo normal compared to all the rest. haha
Last night was quite eventful. First, me and Meredith went to go get gas so we drove around and actually ended up at this hick station right outside of kirksville. It was freaky most of the people there had only half their teeth and this guy with a comb over that was blowing the other way in the wind was staring at us as he filled up his tank and then his clicked and he just stood their staring at us. Then he finally left and when we came out of the store from paying he was back and then he followed us on this secluded highway it was scary. So after a while we lost him and kept going on this pitch black empty highway. We were going about 80 because we were scared to death and had no idea where we were and then we went around the curve and i was like wow you can't see anything at the bottom of that hill; little did i know that at the bottom of that hill was a guy standing in the middle of the street we came about a foot from hitting him and he didn't even flinch. it was sooooo scary so after driving around bumfuck for about and hour and a half we finally saw a sign that said kirksville 15 miles i dont' think i've ever been more happy to see a sign in my life. So anyway we finally made it home went out and got back around 3 am, passed out and a half an hour later was awaken by the freakin fire alarm. someone thought it would be funny to pull it. IT WASN'T. luckily no one had class today, but still it sucked.
so yeah now i'm sittin here in my dorm about to go to dinner with one of the sexy ass guys down the hall and then probably take a nap and then get ready for another night of frat parties!! I'll be home saturday! love you guys
