Microsoft & Post-classical China

Today two representatives of microsoft's department for distributing extra funds to people for talking to you about computers visited me today and "observed my computing environment" which I am almost entirely positive they described as a pile of junk and old electronics stolen from the nearby university. Anyways, they gave me $100 dollars for me to tell them how much I disliked internet explorer and windows media player, they also questioned me about how I was able to remove some sort of search bar from the my computer screen, in which I was incapable of giving a response due to the fact that I had no idea what they were talking about. It was all fairly standard, I guess, except for the fact that one of the two "usability engineers" from microsoft that came to conduct the research was completely unnecessary to the best of my knowledge. He carried around a camera and took pictures of stuff and only asked me one question, which was something along the lines of "whats with the Steve Guttenberg stuff in your room?" To be honest, that question was perfectly warranted as it sometimes creeps guests out and I can only hope he can integrate the power of Steve Guttenberg into the usability of future microsoft products.

In other news, I experienced a defining moment today after microsoft left when I typed my 2000 word assignment on post-classical china and india (assigned today, due tomorrow by my lunatic history teacher) in less than the length of one styx greatest hits album. It is probably rife with spelling errors and subliminally placed styx references, but I consider it to be an accomplishment nonetheless.

Did anyone know they aired episodes of T.J. Hooker at 4 in the morning?
