Sounds good Buddy! Regarding the music, I've read that playing classical music can help kids' mental development. I have one CD I can heartily recommend: "Mozart Adagios." Much of Mozart's music was written in sonata form, which is three movements: fast-slow-fast. Andantes and Adagios are slower tempi that are used for the slow movements. It puts babies right to sleep. Soothes them. and makes them smarter. (I believe this, at least) The CD I recommended has slow movements from a bunch of his best works. You might find that you like them so much, you want to hear the rest of the works.

A good place to start is anything by Mozart which is a concerto. He was most famous for his late piano concerti (Nos. 19-27), followed his few for horn, flute, bassoon, oboe, and clarinet. If you're interested, let me know and I can even recommend specific recordings.

Glad to see you're having fun bonding with your crumb-grabber.
