Well for starters, there is the very cool nostalgia effect that appeals to my childhood. You get to play through so many Disney worlds and team up with characters like Aladdin (KHI and II), Jack Skellington (I & II), Jack Sparrow (II), Beast (I and II) and more. A few levels are Agrabah, Atlantica, Steamboat Willie, Tron, and Lion King. They are just overall alot of fun.
The story is also very engaging and has many twists and cool aspects to it. It's simple enough for a child to understand and get something out of, but deep enough for an older person to enjoy and find meaning in.
And the gameplay is sick. Imagine Link from Ocarina of time, where you target enemies, but instead it's at a faster pace, much more engaging and the abilities and techniques are just beautiful. Jumping from enemy to enemy through the air while doing spin attacks and combos is a blast. Throw in Donald (a magic user) casting spells like crazy and Goofy (the manpower of the group) beating the snot out of enemies makes for a fun time.
Throw in a bunch of mini-games, final fantasy cameos, optional bosses, very nice graphics, and sweet music, and you have a winner.
