hmm, the day is finished, as far as Computer Science goes. Gladly. Some boys in my last Maths class found a window where you could see up girls skirts as they walked up the steps in the main section of our City Campus, a big open plan new shiny loveliness centre. Luckily (for the girls) it was cold and everyone was sensibly wearing trousers, but unluckily (for the rest of us) they still found the idea of it hilarious and were giggling for at least 20 minutes.
a) someone should write a zine about BAD GUYS. We're not talking BAD GUYS as in ARCH ENEMIES or even LETHAL CRIMS but as in one-shot disposable henchmen. After watching Predator many times, you tend to wonder about the small details. While I have no intent to question the amazing 3 minute minigun jungle-shooting scene halfway through, there are many interesting baddies who get wiped out at the mere look of Arnold. They all have AK47s too, but no matter how much they shoot at our goodies, they never seem to hit the target. Which makes me think: surely they havent been hired muscle in the columbian jungle for long. Where do they come from? What did they do before protecting underground cocaine processing plants? I hope I'm the one to write this zine!
b) I sometimes tend to think ridiculously ahead. In a daydreamy stylee, I today decided I'd do an economics degree at the age of 30. That means i'd have 6 years to have (ahem) fun as a programmer before I have a nervous breakdown from boredom-related-text-adventure related mental strain. Then et voila, a degree. I'm choosing not to think about it in any further detail at the moment. Yeah! An economics degree.
c) I havent been out for some days now, i'm not sure where we are off out either. Not like there are any shortage of mid-nineties-dance-pop related drunken nights to be had around here. I could name ten like that.. but the right one, how could we know? Lets analyse. There are certain constants: cheep alcoholo, bad music, free entry. Which still allow us scope worthy of much more distinguished drunken fools. Oh, the choices.
The Leadmill: Free in, two free drinks, close to home, you can always persuade loads of people along.
Bed: School Disco.. really close to home, £2 in, cheap drinks also
Kingdom: not cheap in, not cheap drinks, but fights guaranteed.
The Republic: Disco aswell. But not cheap. Enough.
Can you tell I want to go to the Leadmill?
oh, and there is a wicked old-school electro night going on at a local bar, free in. And the Corporation- a story for another time, they boast the most drunken thursday hip-hop night i've ever witnessed. Superb!
