Hello everyone! The new issue of a Finnish magazine called Basso has an interview with Crispin (he recently visited Helsinki, which was amazing). I thought it might interest you as well, so I'm sharing some photos. I wish I had a scanner because the pictures are really good, but I have to do with my poor old camera. The end results are a bit... artistic, but perhaps it is only fitting.
The interview is titled 'An Exceptional Person' (it's a bit of a wordplay thing, because it could also mean 'an abnormal individual' etc.) and the lead reads more or less like this: "Crispin Glover is a Hollywood star and a good friend of Tim Burton, but he's also the director of America's weirdest movies, a Kungfu trickster and a performance artist. In Helsinki, we met a ruminative person who is not afraid of criticism, only sugar."
There's not that much new information in the story if you've read basically any other interview where he talks about It is Fine! and the American film industry. The writer makes some amusing notions: "It's sometimes difficult to discuss with Glover, because he doesn't know when to stop. He explains everything thoroughly." There's a few things I didn't know beforehand... He says the only thing he's ever been addicted to is sugar and therefore he tries to avoid it at all costs. A bit about Burton's Alice that I think is nice to hear: "It's been a long time since I enjoyed acting so much."
(credit where credit is due: the original photographs were taken by
Junnu Lusa who is a great portrait photographer)
Our biggest newspaper also interviewed him back in October; here's the photo they published of him:

here's a link to another Finnish interview that happens to be in English.
