I was looking around the net to see if there was any recent news about Crispin and came across this article: http://www.cbc.ca/arts/film/story/2009/07/02/f-moon-review.html

It featured one line which mentioned him and it struck me:-

Functional, ok. Bud that isn't saying much. I am of the opinion that Crispin pretty much always plays himself in his roles. Im sure the guy could act like something else, but no one ever wants him to. I was kind of surprised by the way he acted in What is it? being his first chance to direct himself...his character was pretty similar to all his others.

Hmm.. that's fair enough.

But I would like to see any of his shows that feature him so I could get an opinion about his role in his own film. :)
