Sometimes life could be so difficult and harsh, especially in this part of the world., that it makes you so sad, so frustrated and so incredibly disappointed. Nothing works out the way you’ve planned, not even a slight resemblance to it, and you’ve become completely helpless. That small glimmer of hope that kept you going no matter how bad things were seemed to dissipate into the air, gone forever. Then you just want to give up, stop breathing and die.
Then you remember that there was a time in your life when you were happy, when things weren’t oh so wonderful but they were okay. You remember that you once belonged somewhere, that you were a perfect fit, a piece in an elaborate jigsaw puzzle. You remember that there were people you loved you, unconditionally, for all that you are and with all that they are, and waking up was just as good as sleeping.
This is when you get off the ledge on the top of a 50 story building, and make your way into the street where you will be nobody again, just another speck of dust in the sands of people.
