My maternal grandmother, Charlotta Fry Curtis - from whom Liana gets her middle name of Charlotte - passed away late last night. She was a Southern girl who exemplified a calm, polite aplomb that found its way into her children and (I'd like to believe) grandchildren; being around Grammy was the opposite of Family Drama.
