In Rhyme Club, you must hearken to these rules;
Let those who break them be forever cursed.
Speak not of Rhyme Club to those mortal fools;
The second rule: identical to first.
If someone begs to quit or faints to ground,
The duel is over; that man is deposed.
Two men shall battle only in each round;
At once shall only one poem be composed.
You may not bring an aid along to read;
No notes or script or dictionaries bear.
The scope of rhyming shall be shaped by need;
The poem will be as long as both shall dare.
The final rule of Rhyme Club's sacred time:
If this night be your first, then you MUST rhyme.
