This weekend, at long last, Liana seems to have finally stumbled upon the idea of asking "Why...?" about everything. Everything. Every. Damn. Thing.
"Why did that stop playing music?" - Because the battery is probably dying.
"Why is the battery probably dying?" - Because we've had that music-cube for a long time.
"Why have we had it for a long time?" - Because you were very small when we got it.
"Why was I very small when you got it?" - Because that's how it was.
"Why was that how it was?" - Because.
"Why because?" - Because.
I always knew this day was coming, in theory, but the difference between theory and practice is the difference between doing some calculus on a chalkboard and Neil Armstrong putting his foot on the moon.
