...about filmmakers and torture these days? Is it a response to Gitmo, or is it that PASSION OF THE CHRIST turned torture into dollar signs, or is it just that film reviewers (and maybe goers) are so jaded now that regular old suspense and tension and violence just don't do it anymore?

For consideration: we get to see so few movies in the theater, need to select more carefully in the future
